You may be asking "how does this work?" How could I have a urodynamics test performed in my office interpreted and returned to me? The process is very simple. We typically install a small piece of software called UroConsole® on the computer that connects to your urodynamics equipment. This software guides your nurse/technician through the urodynamics test using our best practice procedure. It then collects all of the urodynamics data (e.g. cystometrics data, uroflow data), encrypts it, and transmit it to our secure UroDATA® Server. Once on our UroDATA® Server it enters a work queue for one of our many expert interpreters. The interpreter interprets your urodynamics data using our advanced UroAnalysis software. This software helps the interpreter fully review the urodynamics data and create a very thorough interpretation report. Once completed, the report is returned to you via our web portal called UroPortal, so you may access from anywhere.
It is that simple. We process thousands of urodynamics reports annually using this approach and technology.
Our UroConsole® software enables the efficient collection of the urodynamics data from your urodynamics equipment. It interfaces directly with the urodynamics equipment and pulls the resulting data and posts it via the internet to our secure server for interpretation. It also guides the nurse/tech through the proper testing protocol so the data is clean and consistent. Collecting the urodynamics data using UroConsole® makes the interpretation process much more robust and enables the creation of quality and consistent findings. It also reduces the work your staff has to do by automatically moving the data to our secure server.
Proper urodynamics interpretation requires not only substantial formal training, but also clinical interpretation of hundreds of actual urodynamics tests. The urologists and urogynecologists that will perform your interpretation are all board certified and interpret a minimum of 1,000 urodynamics tests per year, allowing them to fully hone their skills and keep them sharp. Additionally, you will be given direct access to our interpreters if you have questions about any interpretation reports provided to you.
As part of the interpretation, you will receive a fully documented urodynamics test report that includes a sound diagnosis, treatment options based on the professional diagnosis and the best available clinical data, and a full summary report in electronic (PDF) format. These treatment options will include both non-surgical and surgical treatment options. The summary report will also include the results of a thorough patient questionnaire, key urodynamics/uroflow measurements, procedure notes, all measurement tracings, and much more. The summary report can then flow directly into your EMR system or be printed out. Click on the [Get a Sample Report] button above to get a sample report.
